Skatewheel conveyor is ideal for moving a variety of cardboard boxes, trays, plastic totes, cartons etc, within your factory or warehouse. It can also be used very effectively for loading or unloading trucks. When used with tripod supports aluminum skatewheel conveyor can be quickly set up and taken down due to its hook and rod couplings.

Skatewheel conveyor can be set up as level in which case product is manually pushed and or pulled along the skatewheel conveyor. Or the skatewheel conveyor can be set up with a pitch where the product is moved along with the help of gravity.

A unique feature of skatewheel conveyor is that product placed on the conveyor "tracks nicely" and should stay on the conveyor even around a curve.

Aluminum Frame: 2-1/2" x 1/8" Aluminum formed channel, . Equipped with one aluminum axle support on the 12", 15" & 18" wide and two aluminum axle supports on the 24" wide.

Aluminum Wheels: Aluminum plated steel wheels 1-15/16" diameter x 5/8" face with a steel hardened raceway and a 13/16" wide cone. Each wheel contains seven 1/4" hardened and ground steel balls. A lightly oiled baffled construction is designed to keep dirt out.

Aluminum Cross Braces: 5' lengths have two bolt-on cross members and 10' lengths  have four.

5' Support Centers: 750-lbs. evenly distributed live load (150-lbs. per linear foot)

10' Support Centers: 180-lbs. evenly distributed live load (18-lbs. per linear foot)

Wheel Capacity: 45-lbs. per skatewheel.

Axles: bolt-on, 1/4" diameter cold drawn steel, set on 3" centers

Wheels Per Foot: Standard patterns include 8, 10, 12, 20, 24 and 28 wheels per foot.

Couplings: Each 5' and 10' section is equipped with a hook and rod connector

Overall Widths:  Skatewheel conveyors are 12", 15", 18" or 24" wide as standard.

Lengths: Skatewheel conveyors are 5' or 10' long as standard. Special lengths up to 10' available.

Wheel Capacity - 45-lbs.

Frame Capacity (Supports On 10' Centers) - 180-lbs. distributed live load over 10'

Frame Capacity (Supports On 5' Centers) - 750-lbs distributed live load over 5'

Note: All capacities are based on evenly distributed loads with a maximum deflection of 1-1/4" over 10'. Frame capacities are subject to the total capacity of all wheels in a frame but should not exceed above listed frame capacities.
