That's what a heavy duty mobile workbench is built for; the same rugged steel construction you expect from a fixed bench, but with heavy duty casters underneath so you can reposition it whenever the job calls for it.

At DC Graves, our mobile work tables are built with 7 gauge steel bench tops, 2x2 angle legs with gussets, and phenolic or polyurethane casters depending on the model. These aren't flimsy rolling carts pretending to be work surfaces. They're legitimate work benches on wheels with load capacities ranging from 1,000 all the way up to 5,000 pounds.

What We Carry in Mobile Work Tables

We offer several configurations so you can match the bench to your actual workflow:

• Standard Mobile Workbenches (6" Casters): Flush 7 gauge steel top with rounded edges, 34" bench height, and 6" x 2" phenolic casters with a floor lock. Capacities up to 3,600 pounds. This is your go-to mobile heavy duty workbench for general shop use.
• Standard Mobile Workbenches (8" Casters): Same heavy duty build with a 36" bench height and larger 8" x 2" phenolic casters. The bigger wheels make these easier to push across rough or uneven floors, and the capacity jumps to 5,000 pounds. If you're regularly moving heavy assemblies or tooling, this is the mobile work table to look at.
• Mobile Cabinet Workbenches: A heavy duty workstation with built-in locking cabinet storage underneath the bench top. Available with or without a drawer. When your tools and materials need to travel with the bench, these keep everything together and secure.
• Mobile Workbenches with Back and End Stops: A 1-1/2" lip on three sides keeps parts, hardware, and materials from sliding off during transport. Great for assembly line work or moving loose components between stations.
• Adjustable Height Mobile Workbenches: Bench top height adjusts from 27" to 41", so you can set it for the operator or the task. Same back and end stop retention design. A solid choice for facilities where multiple people share the same workbench on wheels across different shifts.
• Retaining Lip Top Mobile Workbenches: Lips on all four sides for full containment of small parts or liquids. Lighter duty at 1,000 pounds capacity with 4" polyurethane casters.
• Butcher Block Top Mobile Tables: A 1-3/4" thick maple butcher block surface on a steel frame with 6" polyurethane casters. These mobile work tables are ideal when you need a durable, non-marring surface for delicate parts, electronics assembly, or finished goods handling.

Why Floor Locks Matter

Every one of our workbenches on wheels with phenolic casters includes a floor lock. This is a simple but critical feature; it drops down to contact the floor and holds the bench firmly in place while you work. You get full mobility when you need to move and a stable, locked-down surface when you don't.
