Heavy Duty Steel Box Trucks
When you need to move bulk loads across a warehouse floor, stockroom, or production facility, a quality box truck makes all the difference. At DC Graves, we carry a full line of heavy-duty steel box trucks built for the kind of real-world punishment that industrial environments dish out every day. Whether you're moving boxes, parts, packages, or bulk materials, we have a box cart configuration that fits the job.
What Makes a Box Truck the Right Tool?
Unlike open platform carts, box-style industrial carts are designed with enclosed sides that keep your load contained during transport. That means fewer spills, less chasing product across the floor, and more efficient movement from point A to point B. If your operation deals with loose items, smaller parts, or anything that tends to shift during transit, a box truck is the smarter choice.
Our steel box industrial carts are built around a 12-gauge steel bottom deck, framed with 1-1/2" angle corner posts; the kind of construction that holds up under daily heavy use without flexing or failing.
Two Side Panel Options to Fit Your Needs
One of the first decisions when choosing a box truck is the side panel material. We offer two solid options:
- Expanded Metal (Mesh) Sides: The open mesh design gives you high visibility into the cart at a glance, and allows for airflow around stored products. Great for parts, packages, or anything where you want to see what's inside without digging around.
- Solid 14-Gauge Sheet Steel Sides: Full enclosure for loads that need more containment or protection. Also the better choice when you're storing items that could poke through or snag on mesh.
Both styles are available in multiple footprints, typically 24" deep, to handle bulk quantities without taking up more floor space than necessary.
Box Trucks for Warehouses: Built for Versatility
Box trucks for warehouses need to do more than just roll from one place to another. That's why our lineup includes specialized variants designed around the way real operations work:
- Lockable Lid Models: Hinged lid with hasp for padlock security, ideal for high-value or restricted inventory
- Drop Gate Models: A hinged drop gate makes unloading faster and easier, with no awkward reaching over tall sides
- Ergonomic Height Models: Raised deck height puts the load at a better working level, reducing strain on your team over the course of a shift
- Security Box Trucks: Heavy-duty builds rated up to 3,600 lbs for high-volume or high-security applications
- Forkliftable Models: Designed to be picked up and repositioned by forklift, great for staging or cross-dock operations
- Models with Lower Shelf: Added storage underneath for tools, supplies, or secondary materials
Standard features across most models include 6" x 2" polyurethane casters, a tubular handle with a smooth radius bend, and optional wheel brakes or floor locks for stationary use. And like everything we carry, these box carts are proudly made in the USA.
